In a recent post on Halo Waypoint, 343 Industries addressed a particular detail on each of the playable characters in Halo 5: Guardians. This specific detail is the HUD on each character. The HUDs are said to be made to allow players to tell the difference between the characters.
“Each character’s HUD has been painstakingly designed by our artists to reflect the visual language of that particular Spartan. So Locke’s HUD has aggressive lines that follow the curvature of his visor while Linda’s enhanced optics are represented in muted tones that reflect her armor palette.” In this way, 343 was able to retain enough similarity between each character so that players do not need to learn a ton of new ways to play the game.
In other news, since Halo Wars 2 was announced, fans of the series have been ecstatic. Although, if you’re looking for more news about the second installment to Halo Wars, you will have to wait until next year. Another post on Halo Waypoint intended to let fans know that the company will not be bringing very much info until sometime next year. Nevertheless, fans the Halo series still have Halo 5: Guardians to look forward to this October.
