According to several rumors currently swirling about, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, alongside Sunset Overdrive, will be possibly be making its way toward PC along with Windows 10. The announcement for such a huge step is claimed to occur at the next big event for Microsoft — Gamescom.
Microsoft has certainly already teased brand new announcements for latest Windows platform, Windows 10, as well as Xbox One when they revealed their “jam-packed” E3 line-up. The tease was sidled alongside the announcement that Quantum Break, Scalebound, and Crackdown have been scheduled to appear at Gamescom, but the announcement had a tease specifically for new game reveals at Gamescom.
The individual who shared this information to the public is known as MTW. This individual is said to be the same person who leaked Halo 4 multiplayer footage prior to its release.
Sources for this rumor have yet to be revealed and the individual who was told does not feel “confident enough in it to say publicly” when the PC version of Halo: Master Chief Collection will release. Although, if this rumor turns out to be true, the Master Chief Collection will have Azure-powered user-controlled dedicated servers, 4K resolution support, will be controller only and much more.
The Gamescom event is set to take place on August 6th through the 9th, 2015.
